“Cowboys and Poodles,” while ordinarily may seem a rather odd pair, made total sense as the theme of Jeremy Scott‘s Fall 2016 collection. The talents of makeup artist Kabuki, hair stylist Eugene Souleiman, and nail artist Miss Pop came together to execute the designer’s kitschy vision. The collection was a combination of bright colors, pop art inspiration and intentionally trashy yet somehow amazing visions of Dolly Parton.

As Scott said himself, “It’s a little bit more Dolly Parton, but Dolly on molly.”

I went backstage with Haute Living to shoot what went into this quirky show.
